Welcome to Mzansi Commons
We aim to construct entrepreneurial campuses in strategic locations
We provide entrepreneurs with high-quality programming,
education, networking and resources

Founded by entrepreneurs believing in their ability to disrupt the Mzansi (Southern African) ecosystem, Mzansi Commons drives innovation across a vast multitude of industries with the long-term vision of creating entrepreneurship campuses across the continent. We’ve created a collective approach and strategy that identifies and unites talents behind our vision.

We believe Mzansi is the best place in the world and are committed to leapfrogging the entrepreneurial ecosystem by partnering with visionaries from the world’s most fertile ecosystems. Our team’s presence in Durban, Silicon Valley, Lagos, Denver, Dubai, Johannesburg and New York teleport our ideas and partnerships to verdant plateaus, enabling us to turn problems into opportunities that drive the region’s economy forward.

Mzansi Commons breaks down the socio-economic landscape of South African society. Mzansi Commons connects unique platforms aimed at bringing the best minds to join in hackathons, labs, incubators and accelerator cohorts to construct comprehensive solutions to the country’s most pressing challenges. The township economy, agriculture, property development, finance and renewable energy are some of the sectors Mzansi Commons aims to engage. Emboldening local entrepreneurs to develop high-impact solutions that are both replicable and scalable will provide a comprehensive roadmap for job creation and expedited implementation.

To Model Success

Mzansi Commons’ model combines globally renowned accelerator programmes from Silicon Valley & Denver/Boulder Colorado with South Africa’s emerging start-up ecosystem. The merger of these accelerator models constructs a multi-phase approach, luring entrepreneurs into a long-term development pipeline.
